Winter Storm Warning, Street Parking Ban Now in Effect
Winter Storm Warning and important information for drivers regarding parking, accidents and plows/salt trucks. The Village parking ban is in effect due to there being more than 2 inches of snow on the ground. This means no vehicles may be parked on the streets, which allows the plow trucks to clean the snow efficiently and safely. If you or a friend has a car on the street, we advise you make a plan to move it immediately. Give the plows and salt trucks plenty of room to work, during and after the storm. They will be out doing their best to clean our roadways and you can help by keeping your vehicles off the road as much as possible. Due to the current storm all traffic accidents will be handled under the snow plan. If you are involved in an accident and your vehicle does not need to be towed and no one is injured, please exchange driver license information, license plate, insurance, and phone numbers. Then meet at the police department. If your vehicle needs a tow or you are injured please call 911 and a police unit will respond. We thank you in advance for your cooperation. Stay safe!
