For Immediate Release: January 1, 2022
Two pedestrians were injured just before 11:00 PM on December 26, 2021 after being struck by a hit and run driver.
Officers responded to the eastbound lanes of U.S. Route 30 (Absecon Boulevard) by the Crest Motel for a motor vehicle crash involving two pedestrians. Officers learned that a vehicle left the roadway and struck both pedestrians that were walking on the shoulder. The driver never stopped and fled from the scene.
