In central West Virginia, Calhoun, Clay, Gilmer, Jackson and Roane. In northern West Virginia, Lewis. In southern West Virginia, Kanawha and Putnam.

* WHEN...Until 115 AM EST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1109 PM EST, Doppler radar and area rain gauges indicate between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen since this morning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain.
