Flood Warning until 08:30AM

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of Central West Virginia, central West Virginia, northern West Virginia and southern West Virginia, including the following counties, in Central West Virginia, Braxton. In central West Virginia, Clay, Nicholas, Taylor and Webster. In northern West Virginia, Barbour, Harrison, Lewis and Upshur. In southern West Virginia, Fayette and Kanawha.

* WHEN...Until 830 AM EST.

* IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 540 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated rain has diminished across the warned area but runoff from earlier rains is likely resulting in some flooding of secondary roads. - Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Clarksburg, Buckhannon, Weston, Summersville, Sutton, Clay, Bridgeport, Stonewood, Montgomery, Nutter Fort, Ansted, Cedar Grove, East Bank, Gassaway, Glasgow, Smithers, Anmoore, Gauley Bridge, Pratt and Birch River.
