INCIDENT: Death Investigation
LOCATION: 16900 block of Nisqualli Road, Victorville
DECEDENT: Unknown, Pending Coroner Investigation
SUMMARY: On January 2, 2022, at approximately 4:18 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department, along with the Victorville Fire Department, were requested to respond to a car fire in the 16900 block of Nisqualli Road. The vehicle was reported to be engulfed in flames in the parking lot of an apartment complex. The fire was extinguished and during the investigation, a deceased person was located inside the vehicle.
Investigators from the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division responded and are conducting the investigation. The identity, including sex and age, of the decedent is pending results from the Coroner’s investigation.
