Winter Weather Advisory until 06:00PM Wednesday

* WHAT...Hazardous road conditions due to strong west winds, falling temperatures, and a burst of snow with patchy blowing snow expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Indiana and northeast Illinois.

* WHEN...From 3 AM to 6 PM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous travel conditions are expected to develop late tonight into Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will gust as high as 45 to 50 mph Wednesday morning into the mid afternoon. Snow showers Wednesday morning could create slick road conditions and poor visibility when combined with the wind and patchy blowing snow. Wind chills will drop below zero by daybreak Wednesday. Consider postponing unnecessary travel in rural and outlying areas.
