Advisory

Temporary Closure of all City Facilities

Beginning January 4, 2022, City Manager Gloria Molleda confirmed that all City facilities will be closed to the general public due to increased COVID-19 cases throughout the City and County. All facilities will remain closed and are projected to open again on January 18, 2022. All essential City functions will continue.

“The safety and health of our City employees and community members continue to be our top priority,” said City Manager Gloria Molleda. “For these reasons, we will plan to close all City facilities. This temporary closure will allow for essential services to continue while minimizing the spread and transmission of COVID-19.”

While all of our City facilities will remain temporarily closed to the public, we will continue to provide the following services:

·         Drive-thru Lunch Program for Seniors on Mondays and Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. at the Garvey Community Center, 9108 Garvey Avenue, Rosemead, CA 91770;

·         City Hall (626-569-2100) and Public Safety Center (626-569-2272) facilities will take payments via “Drop off Box” or by appointment only;

·          The Building Division (626-569-2130) will continue to receive plans and issue permits by appointment only; and,

·         All Winter Recreation classes will be postponed for a week and will resume on January 18, 2022.

Los Angeles County is offering a Home Test Collection program to all residents with an at-home testing nasal swab kit.
