Winter Storm Warning until 07:00AM Friday

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 7 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Virginia and southeast West Virginia.

* WHEN...From 1 PM Thursday to 7 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. The cold wind chills as low as 5 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Northwest winds will gusts upwards of 30 to 35 mph along the ridges Friday morning which will result in blowing snow and reduced visibilities.

* AFFECTED AREAS: TAZEWELL ... MERCER ... SUMMERS ... MONROE ... EASTERN GREENBRIER ... WESTERN GREENBRIER
