Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspect Arrested)
7700 block Santa Monica Blvd
12/27/2021 @ 1145. A woman pulled a knife and pointed it at the victim during an argument that took place in the store parking lot over a handicap parking space. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #05756
 
Other Burglary
7100 block Santa Monica Blvd
12/27/2021 @ 2030-0900. An unknown suspect used a back door to gain entry and removed three tablet computers from the interior. No sign of forced entry. #05792
 
December 28th
Strong Arm Robbery (Suspect Arrested)
San Vicente Blvd / Beverly Blvd
12/28/2021 @ 0933. A woman was sitting in her vehicle when the suspect knocked on her car window. The victim unlocked her vehicle and when she did, the suspect opened the car door and removed the victim’s purse. The suspect ran to a vehicle that was parked nearby and fled the area. The suspect was arrested later in the day by WHD deputies.  #05764

12/29/2021 @ 1130. A woman removed 25 pairs of pants from a display area and left the store without payment. #05794

12/30/2021 @ 1712. A man removed a purse containing a checkbook, credit cards, and gift cards from the backseat of the unlocked vehicle. #05802

12/30/2021 @ 0424. A man pried a rear door open to gain access and removed a laptop computer, three IPads, and two bottles of alcohol from the interior. #05798

12/30/2021 @ 0622-0631. A man followed a tenant into the parking garage to gain access and then went to the lobby mail room and opened a mail package and removed its contents. #05813

12/30/2021 @ 0500-0600. A woman gained access to the lobby of the secured apartment complex and removed several mail packages from the mailroom. #05815

12/30/2021 @ 0622-0631. A man followed a tenant into the parking garage to gain access and then went to the lobby mail room and opened two mail packages and removed their contents. #00002

12/31/2021 @ 0400. An unknown suspect gained access to the secure lobby of the apartment building and pried a mailbox open and removed a rent check. No sign of forced entry to the lobby. #05814

01/02/2022 @ 2100-0630. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a duffle bag containing $2K in cash from underneath the front seat and a purse and boxing gloves from the back seat. #00030
