Subj: Unauthorized Individual at HSS
Dear HSS parents/guardians:
This morning, an unauthorized individual entered High School South. Upon entering the building, the HSS administration and security observed the individual, recognized the individual’s need for medical support, and escorted the individual to the nurse’s office. Assisting the administration was one of our West Windsor Class III Police Officers. As a precaution, additional police were called for assistance. The individual was escorted out of the building and transported to the hospital for further crisis/medical evaluation.
The quick response and recognition of medical needs of the individual is a testament to the training, care and concern exhibited by the HSS staff. These staff members were able to ensure the security and safety of HSS students and staff, while simultaneously supporting the medical needs of the individual. HSS also appreciates the assistance provided by the West Windsor Police Department.
