Winter Weather Advisory until 05:00AM Friday

* WHAT...Snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches, with isolated totals up to 6 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of north central Maryland, the eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, and portions of northern and central Virginia near the Blue Ridge Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow is expected between 1 AM and 4 AM when snowfall rates of around 1 inch per hour are possible. Visibility will be reduced to near or less than one- half mile snow.
