Due to an unanticipated demand all Covid test kits have been given out and the event coordinator has had to shut the event down. Please do not come to the area expecting to receive a test kit. We are hoping traffic patterns will return to normal soon. 


TRAFFIC ADVISEMENT

The Oakley Police Department wants to let everybody know about a traffic situation on O’Hara Avenue and Laurel Road. Motorists are currently backed up on O’Hara Avenue down to Laurel Road and down Laurel Road to the ball fields in anticipation of the opening of an at home Covid test kit giveaway event at the Oakley Recreation Center at 1250 O’Hara Avenue. The event opens at 1PM and it is scheduled to run until 4PM. We are anticipating higher than normal traffic in the area during this time. Please plan your routes accordingly and exercise caution and road awareness in the area.
