A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until Friday, January 7th at 10:00am. The current weather forecast suggests that snow will start in the area on Thursday night and is expected to continue through 10 AM, Friday morning. Snow accumulations of 2-4" are likely. Winds will be North at 8-15 mph for this event, but will turn northwest Friday morning and increase to 15-22 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Please plan ahead for slippery roadway conditions during this time. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. As a result, we recommend all drivers slow down and use caution while traveling.
