A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from midnight tonight until noon Friday with 3 to 5 inches of snow predicted. Alternate side of the street parking is strictly enforced during snow storms to allow the DPW to plow the streets. Additionally, a snow emergency will be in effect as soon as the roads are snow covered and all vehicles must be removed from the streets covered under Borough Ordinance 194-9. Any vehicles parked in violation may  be summonsed and impounded. Please plan ahead and move vehicles now. Vehicles can be moved to the municipal parking lots at Beechwood Place, Elm Place and Wood Park. Streets that are effected by the snow emergency ordinance have signs posted. For further information on the ordinance, it can be found on the Borough's website. 

As stated in an earlier message today, garbage pickup is cancelled for tomorrow. The next garbage pick up will be Tuesday.

Leonia Public Schools have announced a delayed opening for tomorrow morning.
