Beginning Monday, January 10, 2022 the City of Fairfield will limit the number of people visiting our facilities due to the recent COVID-19 Omicron variant surge.
Our Police Department lobby will be open, but limited to serving one citizen at a time.
To receive assistance during business hours please do the following:
- From your Cell Phone call (707) 428-7307 and choose option “7” for Records to buzz you into the lobby. (Lobby hours are Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and OPEN Fridays from 8:00 a.m. -noon. We are closed on all City Holidays and City Closed Fridays (1st/3rd Fridays).
OR
- From the Red Phone, just outside our lobby doors pick up the receiver and choose option “1” for RECORDS, then option “7” to connect with our Records Department to buzz you into the lobby.
City Hall and surrounding buildings will remain open, however, any transactions that can be conducted online or by appointment should do so. Numbers for various departments and divisions can be found on our website at
Fairfield.ca.gov. Our virtual city hall is also open 24/7 at
Fairfield.ca.gov/open. City Hall lobby will be partially open for water payments, but modifications will limit access to upper floors. Patrons coming in for services related to Community Development, Public Works, or the City Manager’s Office, will be provided with numbers to call for immediate assistance or to schedule an appointment for services.
In addition to these modifications, all city council and commission meetings will return to zoom format beginning with the first planning commission meeting scheduled for January 12, 2022.
