Fatality crash in northern Vigo County 
On 01-08-2022 at approximately 1:30pm, Vigo County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on Clinton Rd just north of Park Ave. An SUV traveling north crashed into a southbound mini-van. A passenger in the SUV was unfortunately killed in the crash. Several other parties involved in the crash were injured. Contributing factors in the crash were icy and wet roadway conditions. The identity of the deceased passenger is not being released at this time pending family notification. This crash is still under investigation. Our thoughts and prayers are with all involved.
