UPDATE #LASD Homicide Detectives Responding to a Shooting Investigation, 15600 block of S. Avalon Blvd #Gardena
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult. The incident was reported on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at approximately 1:17 p.m., near the 15600 block of South Avalon Boulevard in the unincorporated area of Gardena.
Compton Sheriff Deputies responded to the indicated location regarding a gunshot victim call. Upon arrival, they located the victim, a male Black in his 20’s, suffering from several gunshot wounds to the upper and lower torso. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no known motive or suspect information at this time.
