Phase 1 Roadway Closure of the 121st St. and Mingo Project starts January 12th. The South Leg of the Intersection will be closed during this phase. The intersection will be a Three-way Intersections with Stop Signs in place. Traffic is requested to detour to Memorial or Garnett. Bixby Police will conducting extra patrols in the Heritage Park Neighborhood. 

This a Federally funded at 75% though the Surface Transportation Program. The program and the project are administrated by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. The City of Bixby is matched with $3 for every $1 dollar put forth for the project. This kind of funding has also assisted in past projects like the intersections at 111^th & 131^st on Mingo. Future Projects like the widening of 111^th and 131^st east of Memorial and a new Intersection at 126^th and Memorial Drive are coming because of these types of partnerships.
