Small droplets spread to another person through a cough or sneeze. • Touching eyes, nose, or mouth with hands that have the virus on them. • Monitor yourself for any new or changing symptoms and seek medical care: · Major Symptoms: 1 symptom Fever (100 or higher) and/ or chills Persistent cough Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing New loss of taste or smell · Minor Symptom: (2 or more) Sore throat Congestion or runny nose Diarrhea /nausea/vomiting Sudden onset or persistent headache Action to take: • Monitor for any new symptoms listed above (1 major or 2 minor symptoms). You may continue to attend work if you do not have 1 major or 2 minor symptoms. • Monitor for any additional or worsening of chronic symptoms, such as allergy symptoms. • Seek medical attention and/or a COVID test if new or changing symptoms occur, become worse, or are not managed with normal treatment. • Seek immediate or emergency care if any difficulty breathing, chest pressure or pain, new confusion, inability to stay awake, pale, gray or blue-colored skin or lips or nails. Continued practice of good hand washing is very important to prevent the spread of COVID, as well as other contagious diseases. Covering mouths and noses when coughing or sneezing, keeping your hands away from your face and wearing a face mask are also effective in preventing spread of any respiratory illnesses.
