Suspect: Robert Clarkson, 33-year-old resident of Needles, CA
On Thursday, January 13, 2022, at approximately 3:03 p.m., Deputies from the Colorado river Station, conducted a traffic stop in the area of River Rd. in the city of Needles. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Robert Clarkson, DOB: 07/11/1988, and found to be on active Parole for PC 245 Assault with a deadly weapon resulting in great bodily injury. During a search of the vehicle, a 12" fixed blade survival knife was located concealed inside the vehicle. Clarkson was arrested for PC 21310 Possession of a Dirk or Dagger and was transported to the Needles jail and booked. Clarkson remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail set at $25,000.00 and is awaiting a court date.
