Possible Child Enticement
Possible Child Enticement Today at 3:00 pm the Janesville Police Department received a report of a suspicious person in the 300 Block of Rockport Rd. Officer Vernon Davis was able to retrieve video from residents in the area confirming the report however, we have not yet identified this subject. At 3:17 pm a 10-year-old child was approached by a tannish gold colored 4 door similar to a Ford Crown Victoria. The vehicle pulled along side of the child and stopped. The male said to the child, “do you need a ride?’ the child said, “no.” The man responded by saying, “it looks like you need a ride, your house is probably far away.” The child immediately got away from the vehicle and went home where they reported it to their parents. The suspect is described as a white male, 40 to 50 years of age. He has short grey hair, and grey scruffy facial hair. The vehicle is similar to a Ford Crown Victoria, or Mercury Marquis which have the same body style. The wheels are silver in color, and appear to be manufacturer original parts. |
