Wintry precipitation this afternoon through early Monday could cause hazardous travel conditions.

Wintry precipitation this afternoon through early Monday could cause hazardous travel conditions especially into tonight when the precipitation is snow or changing to a wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain.

The area most likely to be affected is the southern Poconos, with lesser impacts in the Lehigh Valley and NW NJ, and down towards I-95.
Minor tree and line damage will be possible for coastal locations tonight as wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are expected. Gale force winds are expected on the waters.

Minor coastal flooding is expected with the Monday morning high tide on the northern NJ coast. A Coastal Flood Advisory is now in effect.
Strong NW winds are likely on Monday afternoon and Monday night for southeast PA and most of NJ

Please secure all outdoor items and move vehicles away from low lying areas.
