Traffic Stop in Big River Leads to Arrest of Car Thieves

DATE/TIME: Saturday, January 15, 2022 / 4:30 p.m.

INCIDENT: Grand Theft Automobile and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle

LOCATION: Capistrano Trail / Little Rock, Big River, CA

SUSPECT(S): Jesus Seber, 26 year old resident of Bouse, AZ
                        Tabitha Beardontwalk, 27 year old resident of Big River, CA


SUMMARY: On Saturday, January 15, 2022, at approximately 4:30 p.m.,  a deputy assigned to the Colorado River / Needles Station conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Little Rock and Capistrano Trail in Big River. 

The vehicle had been reported stolen to the CRIT Police Department in Parker, AZ. The driver, Jesus Seber, and the passenger, Tabitha Beardontwalk,  were identified as the suspects who stole the vehicle. Both suspects were booked into the West Valley Detention Center with a bail amount of $25,000.00. They remain in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, awaiting a court hearing.
