Loud bangs 
The City of Centralia Public Works Department will be “Bird Banging” in the evenings all this week on the Southeast side of town. Do not be alarmed if you hear several loud bangs in succession. This is a common practice to scare birds away from particular areas. Please contact the Public Works Department with any questions or concerns.
