* WHAT...Freezing rain and sleet expected. Total ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch over the southern Brush Country to the southern Coastal Bend with lighter amounts to the north. A change over to snow is possible over the Brush Country early Friday morning but accumulations are expected to be below an inch.

* WHERE...South Texas.

* WHEN...From 9 PM Thursday to noon CST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. The cold wind chills as low as 20 degrees could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
