A Message from the #Haledon Office of Emergency Management
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM TO 1 PM EST
THURSDAY
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to two
inches.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey
* WHEN...From 5 AM to 1 PM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions will impact the morning commute.
The advisory has been issued due to the potential high impact of snow falling during the morning rush
hour.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...Slow down and use caution while traveling.
As always, please park cars in driveways where possible. Landlords are asked to consider allowing tenants to park in driveways. All snow must be shoveled 24 hours after snow-fall. DO NOT shovel snow into the street. Keep fire hydrants clear of snow. Do NOT use foreign objects to save parking spaces!
Westside trash collection will be picked up as scheduled.
Haledon Public School will be closed tomorrow (Snow Day).
