Wanted for Riverside Leaving the Scene
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Southampton Town Police Department are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver of a vehicle that killed a pedestrian in a crash in Riverside this month.
A person driving Jeep Cherokee struck a pedestrian on Flanders Road, near Old Quogue Road, on January 13 at approximately 6:30 p.m. The driver fled the scene. The pedestrian, 33, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The vehicle was described as dark gray with possible front end damage. Pictured below is a similar vehicle.
