Curbside Recycling Service Suspended Starting Jan 24 due to COVID related Public Works staffing changes. 
Platte City is suspending seperate curbside recycling pickup starting effective Monday, January 24th. This change is due to COVID related changes to City public works staffing.
All containers placed at curbside (trash and recycling) will be collected as part of the normal solid waste collection. This allows the City to only make one collection run on each day until further notice.
Curbside recycling will return as soon as possible. Changes will be announced on the Platte City Facebook page and through Nixle.
