Update: Attempted Burglary, 8800 block of Wedgewood, follow link for details. 
Today at approximately 7:21 pm, Burr Ridge Officers were alerted to a possible burglary in progress in the area of 8800 Wedgewood Drive. 3 male suspects were seen attempting to enter a house in the area.
Officers arrived and found the three fleeing in a white SUV. After a short chase, the suspects eventually fled from the vehicle when they saw responding officers, and ran east bound from the area of 83rd and Windsor Court.
A perimeter was set-up, K-9 officers, and other officers from Hinsdale, Willowbrook, DuPage County, Darien, Illinois State Police and Glendale Heights assisted in the search. The Chicago Police Helicopter also assisted.
It is believed the subjects were picked up and left the area. However, please lock your doors, set your alarms, and report any suspicious person or activity by calling 9-1-1 immediately.
