Sleepy Eye Area Road Conditions 
The Sleepy Eye Police Department would like to advise residents of the area road conditions. The Police Department, along with several other agencies, have responded to multiple calls for vehicles in the ditch this late morning and early afternoon. U.S. Highway 14 near County Road 27 in particular has been an area of problem. Hwy 14 in the east bound lane, as you leave the City of Sleepy Eye has a patch of black ice that has been causing issue. The Sleepy Eye Police Department wants everyone to drive safe no matter your route or destination. MN DOT has been advised and will address the issue as soon as possible.
