ROHNERT PARK – On 1/21/2022, at approximately 7:30 P.M., the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety received a report of a commercial burglary in progress on the 5700 Block of Commerce Blvd. The Victim responded to the scene and confirmed their front door glass had been smashed.  Officers responded to the area within two minutes and detained 49 year old Paul Good, a Sonoma County unsheltered resident, who was seen leaving area. While reviewing the video surveillance Good was observed burglarizing the business. It was also confirmed property had been stolen, which included pepper spray. During a search of Good Officers located stolen property as well as a stolen Samsung cellphone that had been reported to RPDPS earlier in the evening.  It was reported a suspect matching Goods physical description had entered a cellphone store on the 6200 block of Commerce Blvd, and stole a new Samsung cellphone.
 
On 1/16/2022 Good was arrested by the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety for burglarizing three vehicles.  He was recently released from the Sonoma County Jail and is the same suspect in this commercial burglary.
 
On 1/21/2022 Good was placed under arrest and charged with 459 PC, Burglary, 496(a) PC, Possession of Stolen Property, 594 (b) (1) PC, Vandalism and 22810(a) PC, Possession of Pepper Spray by a convicted felon. He was transported and booked into the Sonoma County Jail.  Due to his continued criminal conduct a bail enhancement was requested and granted in the amount of $50,000.
