Windstorm Update 
Public Works and city contract crews are continuing their efforts to remove trees to resume access to roads and sidewalks as quickly and safely as possible. Please exercise extra caution when in areas where crews are working.
There are still a few intersections with inoperable traffic signals. Please remember when approaching an intersection where the signal is not working:
Flashing Red: Treat as a STOP sign
Flashing Yellow: Proceed with CAUTION
NO SIGNAL LIGHTS: Treat as a 4- Way STOP
The City continues to monitor the progress made by SCE to restore power to ALL La Verne residents as quickly as possible. As of this morning SCE reports that 27,787 customers are experiencing service interruptions (down from 70,000 as of yesterday at 3:30pm).
We appreciate your patience through this difficult and frustrating cleanup process. We thank our La Verne community members for reaching out to one another both in person and on social media and offering each other information, assistance, and kindness.
