Hawthorne Police Traffic Bureau: Parmelee Ave north bound @ Warburton Ave closed during school entry and dismissal.
The Hawthorne Police Traffic Bureau is working in conjunction with the Hawthorne High School to improve the vehicular traffic congestion on Parmelee Avenue. Approximately times of road closure will be morning drop off 7:30 am –8:30 am (delayed opening 9:30-10:30 am). The closure be redeployed during dismissals approximately 2:15 pm to 3:30 pm (half day dismissal 12:00-1:00 pm).
During the closure vehicles will not be permitted to enter Parmelee Avenue from Warburton Avenue. However, residents shall travel either direction within this section of Parmelee Avenue.
