WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 6 PM CST WEDNESDAY
* WHAT...Snow and areas of freezing drizzle expected. Total snow
accumulations from a dusting up to two inches. Light glaze of ice
is also possible. Highest snowfall amounts will likely be in the
southern Panhandle.
* WHERE...South Plains, southern Texas Panhandle and northern
Rolling Plains.
* WHEN...From 3 AM to 6 PM CST Wednesday. Snow chances should
increase first in the southwest Panhandle and then spread across
the area during the day, ending in most areas by late afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday
morning and evening commutes.
Instructions:
Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways.
