INCIDENT: Search Warrant / Possession of Methamphetamine & Drug Paraphernalia
LOCATION: 12700 block of 6th Street, Yucaipa
SUSPECT(S): Spencer Amperman, 29-year-old Yucaipa Resident
Rhonda Richey, 55-year-old Yucaipa Resident
Patrick Nelson, 57-year-old Yucaipa Resident
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: Over the past several years, the Yucaipa Station's Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) has conducted multiple investigations related to a residence in the 12700 block of 6th Street. There have been approximately 87 calls for service at the residence in the last two years for a variety of reasons. Twenty-one of those have been MET investigations centered on the possession, sales and use of drugs at the property.
In the last three weeks, MET developed the evidence necessary to author a search warrant for the location. MET coordinated with Code Enforcement to have personnel available during the service of the search warrant due to known hazardous conditions at the property.
On Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 08:01 a.m. Yucaipa's MET and Detective Bureau served the search warrant. Three subjects located at the residence were in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and were arrested.
During the service of the warrant, Code Enforcement observed safety violations that led them to red tag the entire property. Everyone living at the location was advised to vacate the premise until the safety issues were corrected and the residence was deemed safe to occupy.
