Windstorm Update 
This weekend, the San Gabriel Valley was significantly impacted by devastating wind conditions, which had substantial impacts to the City of La Verne. The City lost approximately 50 trees from this single event, which closed several streets, sidewalks, and parks in addition to causing power outages throughout the City.
With approximately 100 service requests for wind related items, staff continues to prioritize these requests based on safety and access. Cleanup efforts are anticipated to be completed in February with some work such as sidewalk replacement and tree planting to be completed in the months to follow.
Kuns Park remains CLOSED to the public.
