Good evening, this is the Belmar Police Department with an important announcement for the residents of Belmar and Lake Como regarding the impending winter storm to arrive in our area.

A winter weather watch has been issued for our area from the evening of Friday January 28^th through the evening of Saturday January 29th.
The national weather service is reporting moderate conditions with areas of briefly heavy snowfall possible, stronger wind gusts, and areas of blowing snow early Saturday morning through early Saturday night.
If snowfall accumulates, vehicles must be removed from roadways as per borough ordinances for Belmar #19-10 and Lake Como #7-7.4.
