Full Notification

On 1/27/22 at approximately 1015 AM, Rohnert Park Fire personnel were called to the south parking of Alicia Park, for an unresponsive 19 year female.  Upon their arrival, fire personnel located the woman in the backseat of a vehicle.  They removed her from the backseat and began lifesaving efforts with the assistance from Sonoma life Support personnel.  The 19 year old was pronounced deceased at 1040 AM.
Due to the nature of the call Rohnert Park Patrol personnel and Detectives arrived on scene.  During the initial investigation, Detectives determined that the 19 year old woman was picked up by friends at her residence in Forestville and brought to their residence in the 300 block of Arlen Drive.  The 19 year old and her friends went into the residence and went to sleep.  At approximately 10 AM, the residents woke up and found the 19 year old on the couch and unresponsive.  The friends attempted CPR and then carried the 19 year to their car which was parked in the driveway.  When they attempted to drive away, another friend stopped them because he had called 9-1-1.  At that time the Lexus pulled into the Alicia Park Parking Lot which is directly across the street from the residence.
Rohnert Park Detectives are investigating the cause of the death, but unfortunately, at this time are unable to rule out anything suspicious or if the cause of death was related to a medical emergency.
