WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON UNTIL SATURDAY EVENING. 

Accumulations expected to be 4 to 7 inches with the possibility of greater amounts if the storm track changes. Garwood Local Ordinance states Whenever snow has fallen and there is an accumulation of three inches or more of snow on any street or highway, no vehicle shall be parked on any street or highway, or portion therof in the Borough of Garwood. This prohibition shall remain until the snow has ceased and the street has been plowed after the cessation of the snowfall. 

Arrangements have been made to provide temporary off street parking to residents in need in the WESTWOOD PARKING LOT WEST at the corner of North Ave and Maple Street.

All residents wishing to park in the Westwood lot must first report to the Garwood Police Department and provide a name, vehicle info and contact number.

THE BOROUGH OF GARWOOD HAS NOT BEEN GIVEN PERMISSION NOR CAN WE GRANT PERMISSION FOR ANY VEHICLE TO PARK IN ANY OTHE PRIVATE LOT OTHER THAN THE WESTWOOD LOT AT THE CORNER OF NORTH AVE AND MAPLE STREET. VEHICLES PARKING IN PRIVATE LOTS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF THE OWNER ARE SUBJECT TO SUMMONS AND TOWING AT THE DISCRETION OF THAT OWNER.
