This is Chief Scott with an important message for the residents of Lake Como. Blizzard conditions are expected tonight through Saturday along the coast with strong wind gusts around 50 MPH, reduced visibility, and reported snowfall 15-24 inches. First Energy is in storm mode and Power outages are expected. This is a major snowstorm that will impact our area and we encourage you to prepare. The Department of Public Works is preparing for the storm, and it is imperative that the Snow emergency ordinance is followed. All vehicles shall be parked on the South and West side of the Borough streets until after the snow has
stopped and the street has been cleared.
After roadway has been cleared all vehicles must be moved to the north and east sides of the streets to allow the Public Works Department to continue to clear the roadway. Please DO NOT throw any snow
onto the roadway If vehicles are found in violation, they may be subject to receiving a summons which will be mailed.
