Declaration of Snow Emergency

            Edward W. Brancati, Village Manager of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco, pursuant to Section 101-8 of the Code of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco does hereby declare that a snow emergency exists and by reason of a severe snow storm does hereby establish the following emergency parking and traffic rules and regulations and suspends promulgated rules and regulations insofar as they are inconsistent herewith:
 

1. No parking on any street or roadway from 10:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2022, through 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022.

 
VIOLATORS MAY BE TICKETED OR TOWED
 
2.   No person shall throw or deposit snow upon any plowed portion of any street or roadway.  Homeowners are responsible for the actions of private contractors in their employ.  This regulation shall not be inconsistent with Section 1219 of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
 

3. FREE Parking is available in all municipal parking lots during the snow emergency.

 
            This declaration shall be in effect for the time period stated above.

Edward W. Brancati, Manager de la Aldea/Pueblo de Mount Kisco, de conformidad con la Sección 101-8 del Código de la Aldea/Pueblo de Mount Kisco, declara por la presente que existe una emergencia de nieve y debido a una fuerte tormenta de nieve no por la presente establece las siguientes reglas y reglamentos de tránsito y estacionamiento de emergencia y suspende las reglas y reglamentos promulgados en la medida en que sean incompatibles con las presentes:
 
1. No estacionar en ninguna calle o calzada a partir de 10:00 p.m. Viernes, 28 de Enero de 2022, hasta 10:00 p.m. el Sábado 29 de Enero de 2022.
 
LOS VIOLADORES PUEDEN SER MULTADOS O REMOLCADOS
 
2. Ninguna persona arrojará ni depositará nieve sobre ninguna parte arada de ninguna calle o calzada. Los dueños de casa son responsables de las acciones de los contratistas privados a su cargo. Este reglamento no será incompatible con la Sección 1219 de la Ley de Tránsito y Vehículos del Estado de Nueva York.
 
3. Hay estacionamiento GRATUITO disponible en todos los estacionamientos municipales durante la emergencia por nieve.
 
Esta declaración estará en efecto por el período de tiempo indicado anteriormente.
