Steady snow this morning should slow down around midday before ending by mid afternoon.
Plowing operations are ongoing. Please be patient and stay off the roads as our Department of Public Works crews work to get Township streets plowed today.
Senior citizens with emergency needs ONLY for snow shoveling should call (732) 735-9232. Shoveling will be done once the storm has ended and volunteers are available. Any volunteers who are available to assist with shoveling should call (732) 735-9232.
Please check on your senior neighbors to see if they need any assistance.
Please make sure to shovel your sidewalks following the storm to ensure safety for pedestrians. Sidewalks must be shoveled within 24 hours after the snowfall has ended.
If you live near a fire hydrant, please help the Fire Department and your neighbors, by shoveling around the hydrant. This could be a life saving measure!
