Advisory

4:00PM: Snow ending. Plowing will continue overnight. Dangerous temperatures and wind chills tonight.

4:00PM: Snow ending. Plowing will continue overnight. Dangerous temperatures and wind chills tonight. Limit travel for the remainder of the day.

Thank you to residents for staying off the roads, MTPD report no major incidents during the storm. DPW and our plow partners have been in snow clearing operations since 9pm last night and will continue through the overnight hours again tonight.

Remember to keep vehicles off roads and to NOT BLOW OR SHOVEL SNOW INTO THE ROAD. This impairs snow clearing operations and is not courteous to your neighbors.

Most roads still have snow/ice cover and the low temperatures make it difficult for salt to be effective and to "clear to blacktop" until temperatures rise. Please have patience as our crews work and continue to limit travel for the remainder of the day.

Dangerously low temperatures and wind chills as low as -15 degrees are predicted through the morning. Stay indoors and take frequent breaks if you are clearing snow at your home.

If you have an emergency, please call 9-1-1.
