CST THURSDAY....
* WHAT...A wintry mix, will quickly transition to moderate to
heavy snow by Wednesday morning. Total snow accumulations of 5
to 7 inches. Little if any ice accumulation are expected.
* WHERE...Portions of Central, South Central and Southeast
Kansas.
* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 6 AM CST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero
Wednesday night into Thursday morning could result in
hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
