The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning effective until Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.  With anticipated snowfall in excess of two inches we ask that all residents remove vehicles parked on village streets. The removal of vehicles will allow snowplows to efficiently remove snow and help make the roadways clear for travel.  Most snowfall will likely occur in the overnight hours and parking enforcement will take effect.  Parking on streets when more than two inches of snow has accumulated is a Village Ordinance, which could result in your vehicle being ticketed and towed.  We are asking for cooperation and prefer voluntary compliance.

Please be careful traveling in the anticipated winter storm and allow extra distance between vehicles to help prevent accidents. If traveling be sure to have a full tank of gas, charged cellular phone, extra clothes/blankets, first aid kit, and other safety items should an emergency occur. Our police department will be patrolling and ready to assist if needed.
