Operation "Hide and Seek" results in arrest of suspected felons along with marijuana.

High Risk Warrant Operation
 
On January 31st, 2022, the Kingsville Police Department SWAT Team and a member of the Kleberg County Attorney’s Task Force embarked on a mission of “Hide and Seek” to seek out wanted felons and illegal drugs from our community.  During the mission of “Hide and Seek”, we located two wanted felons hiding in our city as well as illegal drugs.

  • Bail Jumping and Fail to Appear Felony
  • 11 City Warrants
During the mission, consent was given to search a residence for a wanted felon.  During the search inside of the residence, approximately 1.86 ounces of high-grade marijuana was located.  Two residents of Kingsville, TX are currently pending criminal charges for the Possession of marijuana under two ounces, a Class B Misdemeanor.
Citizens are asked to take an active role in providing information to the Street Level Operations team by contacting the Team Supervisor, Lt. Daniel Gonzalez at (361) 593-8842 with any suspicious activity-taking place in their neighborhood. The calls can be anonymous, please provide the activity being witnessed and the correct address of the suspicious activity.
