Wilmington Police arrest juvenile in connection with December 2 shooting incident: 
Wilmington Police have made an arrest in connection with a December 2021 shooting incident.
On December 2, 2021 at approximately 4:33 p.m., police responded to the 2600 block of Thatcher Street in reference to a shooting incident that had occurred. Police located a 17-year-old female gunshot victim, who arrived at the hospital in stable condition.
The case was assigned to Detective Kevin Nolan of the Criminal Investigations Division. Through the course of his investigation, Detective Nolan identified a 17-year-old male as a suspect, and obtained arrest warrants.
The suspect was located and taken into custody by the United States Marshals Service Task Force in Philadelphia, and was extradited to Delaware on January 31.
The male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Assault (First Degree)
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
