Winter Storm Warning until 04:00AM Thursday

* WHAT...Snow. Additional accumulations through the rest of the night will be an inch or less.

* WHERE...Lapeer, Livingston, Sanilac, Macomb, Shiawassee, Genesee, St. Clair and Oakland Counties.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will taper off to very light snow or flurries overnight. Ongoing arctic air now advancing across the area will make any untreated surface very icy tonight. There is a chance for additional light snow on Thursday, mainly south of a Howell to Mt Clemens line. Current indications are that there will be a significant break between the snow this evening and the potential light snow on Thursday, with any additional accumulations on Thursday expected to remain below 5 inches.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SANILAC ... SHIAWASSEE ... GENESEE ... LAPEER ... ST. CLAIR ... LIVINGSTON ... OAKLAND ... MACOMB ... WASHTENAW ... WAYNE ... LENAWEE ... MONROE
