Flood Advisory until 04:45PM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Assumption, Lafourche, St. Charles, St. James, St. John The Baptist and Terrebonne.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 335 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Thibodaux, Reserve, Laplace, Gramercy, Lutcher, South Vacherie, North Vacherie, Chackbay, Wallace, Garyville, Edgard, Killona, Schriever, Montz, Taft, Gray, Labadieville and Supreme. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
