OWI 5th Offense
OWI 5th Arrest – Mario Rivers
On 02/06/22 at 5:15 A.M. Mario Rivers was operating a vehicle that was stopped for a defective brake light and revoke driving status near the intersection of Laurel Ave and N Palm St in the city of Janesville. Rivers displayed signs of impairment during the traffic stop. Rivers failed standardized field sobriety testing and was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI) 5th offense. Rivers is currently on probation for OWI 4th and his driving status was revoked due to prior OWI related offenses. A sample of Rivers’ blood was obtained, results are pending. Rivers was unable to be held in custody at the Rock County Jail due to COVID-19 protocols. He was released after being processed.
